FABRIC IS ART

An Installation presented at the Accademia Gallery during the exhibition "Fabric and wealth in Florence in the fourteenth century. Wool, silk, painting" The animations of iconic fabrics envelop the marble surfaces of Michelangelo's universal masterpiece, giving it a new visual, expressive and symbolic appeal. A metaphor that puts the fabric on par with sculpture as an artistic language, to remind us that art is an extension of craftsmanship and also lives outside galleries and museums.
