FELICE LIMOSANI (1966) Multidisciplinary Artist.

I work with the idea of joining technology and humanistic disciplines, to remove the boundaries between art and design, culture and communication, experience and entertainment. There are inherently connected languages that influence and interact with each other. My approach mixes them to create a work of art that transcends to go beyond. My project range from art installations to the construction of immersive ambiances (both physical and virtual) up to the curatorship of experiential exhibitions. Started as a DJ and music producer (1982/1999), founded a start-up SKYBAR wireless lifestyle support, the first MMS messenger app (Nokia 2001) and created digital artistic content for the Japanese telephone company NTT DoCoMo. I have been a partner and the Art Director of LUISAVIAROMA Florence. I devised and curated the current concept between trade and experience, both in-store and online (2002/2014). Projected artistic works with different languages commissioned by international brands. I collaborate all over the world with architects and design studios, developing ideas with an unconventional approach. I am a member of the scientific committee of The Matera Foundation, Capital of European Culture of 2019. My site-specific works have been exhibited by institutions such as the Louvre, Miami Art Basel, The White Chapel Gallery, Palazzo Strozzi, Palazzo Vecchio, Florence Academy, French Academy of Rome, Milan Triennale and the Mies Van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona. As a Researcher and an expert on issues related to the evolution of artistic languages and experiential engagement I have held Lectures for Stanford University, Central Saint Martins-University of the Arts London, Ecal Ecole Lausanne, YPO Young Presidents' Organization, Cà Foscari Venezia and the Future Concept Lab - global institute for research and innovation. The book "Italo Globali" (Lupetti, 2014), has placed me among the internationally recognized leading Italian innovators, I live in Florence and work all over the world.
