Pieces of Peace starts from research, also addressed in previous works with other languages, towards perception, contemplation and the creation of environments and aesthetics that culminate in sensory experiences and reflections on reality. Hence the idea of a rotating obelisk suspended over a body of water to symbolically give shape to an urgent need: peace! A project curated by Sonia Zampini, exhibited in the Renaissance courtyard of Palazzo Bartolini Salimbeni in Florence, home of the Roberto Casamonti Collection. The catalogue is published by Forma Edizioni with texts by Felice Limosani, Jeffrey Schnapp, Cristiano Seganfreddo and Sonia Zampini.
