EARTH IS LIFE

“The Earth is Life, Our Future is Hope” is a post-media visual poetry installation that transforms the facade of De Castillia 23 into a narrative surface. Words and light merge with the architecture, redefining urban space as a place for thought and contemplation. The verse places the Earth at the heart of a reflection interweaving Life, Future, and Hope, emphasizing their inseparable unity. Through a linguistic play, the rhythm of words turning on and off deconstructs and reassembles the original message into variations such as The Earth is our Future and Life is Hope. These semantic subtractions amplify the meaning, generating multiple layers of interpretation and suggestion. The textual variations invite the audience to a free and personal interpretation, making them co-creators of a collective reflection: the Earth is the foundation of life, and the future is born from our capacity to hope and to act. The work engages with the global cultural discourse on the environment and humanism, resonating with the theme of Jubilee 2025: Spes non confundit — hope does not disappoint.
