Illuminated Thoughts is an artwork about what remains of a thought as it travels through time. Within the architecture of the Terme Tettuccio, 3D-scanned sculptures from the past, drawn from the collections of some of the world’s most important museums, become part of a reflection on life and humanity. The forms of the past do not return as memories to be celebrated, but as presences still able to speak to us. They carry both light and darkness, open up possibilities and leave each of us with the responsibility of choosing what we wish to bring into the world.
