The Raya Extended Vocal is a tribute to the Raya club in Panarea, the place where I began and concluded my career as a DJ (1982–1999). Described by the authoritative DJ Mag London as “the Ibiza sunset soundtrack for 2000, as sexy as house music gets,”the track stands out for its sensual flow and magnetic musical structure. Later remixed by American deep-house maestro Kevin Yost, the track gains momentum despite the beat coming in quite late; when it does, it feels “like a huge rush of serotonin.” Featured in prestigious international compilations such as Hed Kandi, David Morales Club Mix, and Base Ibiza, the track defined a season of sonic elegance and Mediterranean inspiration.
